Dr. Ashley Choi is a credentialed Occupational Therapist from Rutgers University and has experience in working with adults in traumatic brain injury rehabilitation with a focus on early prevention in cognitive decline. She is particularly interested in providing her clients with the education and resources to participate in activities that foster getting back to the activities that they love, cognitive health, sleep hygiene, mental wellbeing and navigating public transportation.  Her clinical and research experience include supporting older adults aging in place, education on assistive technology, functional home modification assessments, sleep hygiene to support neural health, and maintaining cognitive functioning through memory and decision making.

She has been recognized for both Excellence and Distinction in Research from her alma mater and brings a strong background in cognitive neuroscience and behavioral psychology from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.

She has experience in leading group activities in gardening, meditation and mindfulness practice, journaling and reflection, as well as private consultations for home modification to age in place. She also provides consultations on community mobility using accessible transportation and trip planning​ in and out of the United States. With her strong love for hiking, gardening, and extensive travel itineraries, Ashley believes in leading an occupationally balanced life.

She strongly believes in utilizing the natural environment to engage in preventative healthy habits early and often to increase longevity, and wellbeing.
